Here we are, week 11. Entering this week’s action, the Patriots have a 9-0 record, Bills and Jets at 5-4, with he Dolphins still believing in magic at 4-5. Two of our divisional rivals meet in Foxboro for Monday Night Football, as the Bills visit the Patriots.

— the game —

The Buffalo Bills ride into town after visiting the Jets and winning 22-17. The Patriots continue their march towards another divisional title after barely defeating the Giants 27-26.

Tyrod Taylor was allowed to throw 36 times, and the rule of 30 applied, as the Bills never win when he has to throw that many times. The Patriots walked away with a 10-0 record and a 20-13 win. Taylor had no TDs and no INTs, and threw for 233 yards. The Bills led by McCoy’s 82 did not break 100 yards rushing, and the leading receiver was Chris Hogan. The defense hit Brady often, 10 times in all, but only sacked him once.

The Patriots did what they do when facing a tough team at home on a down day, they do enough to make sure they win the game. Tom Brady 20/39 for 277 with 1 TD and 1 INT. With spark plug Dion Lewis out for the year, the rushing game was blah! Danny Amendola replaced injured Julian Edelman as the leading receiver. The day belonged to James White, as he scored 2 TDs, one rushing and one on a pass from Brady. After this game many wondered why Belichick doesn’t use the young man more often, as he is a double threat.

Biggest losers:

  1. McCoy and Karlos Williams, because they rushed the ball 26 times for 93 yards. These stats may be ok on most teams, but the Bills are a run first team, and when these guys can’t run, Tyrod is forced to throw.
  2. Leodis McKelvin, fumbled the ball twice and losing one of them.
  3. Bill Belichick, he has a natural replacement for Dion Lewis, but refuses to play James White more, the kid is explosive!
