Jairus Byrd Rumors to Cleveland Browns


There are rumors out of Cleveland that have Jairus Byrd linked with the Browns in a reunion with new Browns head coach Mike Pettine. The rumors seem to have some legs to it though according to Ian Rapoport.



On Wednesday the Dolphins fired head athletic trainer Kevin O’Neill. On Friday O’Neill’s fellow trainers honored him with the 2014 Fain-Cain Memorial Award for Outstanding Athletic Trainer of the Year by the NFL Physician’s Society.




Combine: Could this be the year to find Brady’s replacement

Brady signed an extension last year that runs through the 2017 campaign, but with relatively low salaries over those final three years the Patriots could easily start a new regime if The Franchise exhibits any signs of slowing down. Those factors, coupled with a deep and talented class of quarterbacks available in the draft leave plenty of intrigue at this week’s Combine. 




Jets believe in Geno


At the risk of being flagged for a delay-of-name penalty, the New York Jetsrefuse to anoint Geno Smith as their starting quarterback. It’s just semantics, of course. Whether they declare it or not, they expect him to begin 2014 as the starter.
