Lets get down to business:

What is the real Pats offense? The one against the Raiders or the one against the Bengals?

SlickVinny

The real Pats offense right now is probably somewhere in between.  The addition of the Majestic Stork seems to have patched the holes in the offensive line; and now that Gronk looks healthy (and if he can stay that way) I think the two TE looks with him and Wright could show us shades of 2010 when Gronk and the other guy tore up the league.  There is always the possibility that Josh “Elf Dentist” McDaniels shoves his head back up his rectum and decides that the best course of action is to throw deep twice then try and force one in on third down, but I’m pretty sure he fears what the Majestic Stork will do to him if he tries.  All in all I think that the offense is still a work in progress but if they stay committed to the run and don’t panic things should trend more towards the unit we saw in the Cinci game.

Do you feel embarrassed to be a Bills fan after the way Jim Schwartz acted following a week 4 regular season game that required complete incompetence on the opponent’s part to achieve?  (following his stellar 29-51 career as the Lions head coach)

ArcherNoles1863

I figured this would be one of those questions. No, not really, he was glad he beat his old team and wanted to be carried off the field in triumph.  I have no problem considering his defense was the main reason the Bills won.

Who has been the biggest disappointment for the Patriots so far?

SlickVinny

Well there are certainly a number of candidates for this award thus far, but if I had to choose just one it would probably be Jamie Collins (Chandler Jones is exempt from this award because I didn’t expect anything from him anyway).  Collins came into the season riding a wave of high expectations and he’s  pretty much fallen off that wave.  A mixture of injuries and lack of size to stand up in the run game has left a lot to be desired where Collins is concerned.  He’s been OK in pass coverage, but still showed some major room for improvement when it comes to covering RBs out of the backfield.

The Kyle Orton era started pretty well for the Bills, do you think that he will be able to lead the Bills to a better record than EJ would have?

ArcherNoles1863

Uncle Orton had a pretty good game against the Lions but his career has shown that he won’t consistently play at a high level.  In regards to better record, I think the bigger key is Nathaniel Hackett who so far has shown he is a terrible offensive coordinator.  Overall I think he will have a 4-4 record which will be the exact same record EJ has this year.

How much longer does Brady have?

SlickVinny

Assuming the offensive line holds up and he doesn’t get his arms torn off this year?  In that case I’d honestly say next year and if we are lucky one more.  He’s definitely shown some real signs of decline and the organization has shown no signs of adding and real  talent in the hopes of extending his career, so I there really is no doubt that his time in the league is limited.  (note:  He probably plays that last year for a team other than the Pats)

Outside of the defensive line, who on the Bills should scare Pats fans?

ArcherNoles1863

Sammy Watkins, he is a freakish athlete who is extremely difficult to cover and seems to love catching horribly off-target passes.

Outside of Stork, who is the most important player for the Pats Sunday?

SlickVinny

Well you are right The majestic Stork is the most important player (just look at FSU’s 2013 top rated o-line that only only lost him and are now ranked somewhere around 110), but the guy that is second most critical to a Pats win is probably Shane Vereen.  Shane kind of owns the Bills and getting him out on the edges with stretch runs and swing/ screen passes will draw the LBs away from Gronk and Wright opening them up for huge days.

How do you think the Bills will try and contain the Pats’ new found two TE sets?

ArcherNoles1863

If Nigel Bradham is healthy I think they use him on Wright. For Gronk I expect them to use Spikes to get some hits within 5 yards and have Duke or Aaron Williams try to cover him. Overall the Bills plan will be to hopefully get to Brady before he throws it.

By how much will FSU beat Syracuse on Saturday?

SlickVinny

Syracuse still plays football?  The last good player the produced was McNabb right?  (I know Chandler Jones went there and I stick by my previous comment)  If FSU doesn’t beat these guys by at least 30 points then Jimbo should be put on a homemade raft to Cuba.

Thank you guys, very nicely done, even got a college prediction in. What will the final score be?

SlickVinny Game will be closer than most “experts” think, but the Pats win a close one 31-24
