This game has major playoff implication for both teams. At 4-6 now a loss will put the Raven’s back against the wall with the Steelers, Vikings, Lions, Patriots, & Bengals being the remaining opponents. The Jets at 5-5 need a win to maintain their slim lead over a slew of 4-6 teams still chasing that 6th playoff spot. The Jets remaining opponents are Dolphins twice, Raiders, Carolina, and Cleveland.
Statistically this is a very close match-up.

While this game can go either way it’s going to depend on which team gets to dictate the pace of the game. The Ravens are 1-4 in the last 5 games with 3 losses by 3 points or less and one by 6 points. The Jets are 2-3 in the past 5 games but their losses have been by 13, 40, & 23 points.
The Jets can win by using their defense and running game to control the pace of the game to keep this a low scoring game.
The Ravens need to jump out to an early lead and force the Jets to depend on Geno Smith to play catch-up. If they can do this they could end up with a landslide victory.
Planning for a little of each during the game we get.
Ravens 24 Jets 21
