Sammy joined the Bills and our division in a most unexpected way, and many fans hold that against him. He was part of a heist that former Bills DC Mike Pettine, performed on draft day. He knew that the Marrone wanted Watkins in the worst way…..and he made him pay.
However, Sammy is a legit top WR in the NFL, and the Bills trade might not be as bad as it looked then. A year ago, Sammy was a bright star on an offense that more offensive to the eye than on the field. Watkins with a decent QB, would have had a bigger year than the various stars at the position in 2014.
Watkins may be the most dangerous weapon in the AFCE, yet nobody is really taking him serious.
