2022 AFC Divisional Round Overreactions
Well, here we are, it’s the real playoffs, all of the shitty teams have been eliminated and it’s down to the best of the best from here on out. So, let’s get right to it.
Last place: Pats, they suck and still haven’t fired the coach/GM.
Second to last place: The Jets. Yeah, they’re still the Jets.
Third to last place: The Fins. Yeah, shows the quality of this division when a team with no coach is in second place.
And your fourth to last place team, the only team the in the division to lose a game last weekend, the Buffalo Bills. That does it for the AFCE this season and as per usual, it ended in failure. It’s sad really, because Josh Allen played as well as possible and it still wasn’t enough. I guess maybe surrounding him with weapons won’t be enough? Ahh, but I’m not here to do that today, the Bills played what many are considering one of the greatest playoff games in the history of the league. I think the game was excellent as well, and if the league would just change the rules, the Bills would have had a shot to win. It their loss definitely had nothing to do with the absolute incompetence of the defense or the coaching staff. All in all, the Bills were shown just how far they have to go, it’s probably time to start looking for a more level headed head coach who won’t get swallowed by the emotion of the moment. And I guess Josh Allen is good enough to win a Super Bowl, if he has a defense that’s just a little better than the #1 defense in the NFL. I know we’re used to Bills’ seasons ending in failure, but this one just stings more, because we’ve been told for the last 18 months that these Bills and their QB are the greatest of all time. Long story short, I’ll give you a preview of the final grades article…Bills season: F-.
